Privacy Notice
How App Solutionbox collects, uses, retains, and protects personal data for travel expense audit enquiries under Hong Kong law.

Data controller

Data we collect
- Enquiry forms: name, email, optional engagement interest, travel period notes, and message content
- Engagement work: contact details of client sponsors, and claim documentation you provide (which may include traveller names and expense details)
- Technical: essential cookies and, if you accept analytics cookies, aggregated usage data as described in our Cookies page
We do not ask for payment card numbers through this website.
Purposes
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, perform contracted audits, maintain workpapers, meet professional record-keeping expectations, and improve site reliability.
Legal basis / compliance
We process data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong and, where relevant, contractual necessity for delivering audit services you request.
Retention
Enquiry emails are kept up to 24 months unless they lead to an engagement. Engagement workpapers and client correspondence are retained for seven years after engagement close, or longer if a dispute or legal hold requires it. Cookie identifiers follow the durations in the cookies table.
Sharing
We share data with IT and email hosting providers that process data on our instructions, and with professional advisers if required. We do not sell personal data. Claim files may be shared with your nominated internal contacts only.
International transfers
Our primary operations and storage are in Hong Kong. If a processor stores data outside Hong Kong, we take steps to ensure comparable protection consistent with Cap. 486 expectations.
Your rights
Subject to Cap. 486, you may request access to and correction of your personal data, and ask us to cease using it for direct marketing (we do not currently run marketing lists from this site). To exercise rights, email info@app-solutionbox.digital with enough detail to locate your records. We may need to verify your identity.
Security
We use access controls on engagement files and TLS for form submissions where supported by the hosting environment. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive identifiers in the initial enquiry form.
Children
Services are aimed at business clients. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this notice by posting a revised version here. Material changes will update the “Last updated” date.
